If Slive ends up adding a team like Louisville he should be fired.

We have to endure his shitty refs...that's almost too much as it is.

SEC will stay just like it is for now, next year
maybe some changes. That is just my opinion.

What about Houston and Tex A&M. That area is a huge LSU fan base.

A&M is one of the teams rumored to be going to the PAC-10.

I personally would rather see the SEC pick up Baylor than Houston. At least then the SEC West would have its version of Vandy.

indeed. things will really get crazy when one of the BIG TEN/12 or PAC 10 makes a real change. then the dominos will fall, maybe/probably.

anyway, someone will clout, please ask the powers that be to consider that suggestion.

Awe.....

STFU...

SEC is in frim control of its destiny....

But I'll entertain you... easy add the highest profile schools in the south /east...

1. FSU
2. Miami
3. Virgina Tech
4. West Virginia....

Other notables Georgia Tech (match up with GA), Clemson (south carolina match up)

Houston will never be in the SEC. LSU already delivers as much of the Houston market as Houston can. The only people that care about Houston are UH grads.

The SEC is not going to expand just because others are. The other conferences - Big 10, Pac 10 and Big 12 - all have issues they are trying to solve.

The SEC does not have those issues.

The SEC will not expand to make ourselves a weaker football conference or to in any way reduce the average payout per school.

I wish the Pac-10 and Big 10 (11) would add teams to get to a 12 team conference, then play a conference championship at the end of each year. It would help to get to as close as a playoff scenario as possible with the bowl games later.

The potential for 4 16-team super conferences as some are talking about would get us even closer. Each conference champion enters a 4 team playoff for the national title.

A bit a of a stretch on the Houston market as UH has over 250K alumns in the area. We would love for you to come over to Houston and play us in Reliant and see how the attendance shakes out.

Take a look at UH's current conference schedule. It's like watching paint dry.

UH will never avg 70K at home but their current woes relate more to the appeal of the opponents than anything else at this point in time.
