If TN wins and lets say OU gets blown out, loses 6+ games the rest of the way, Venables will likely be fired or on a very hot seat at the least. Heupel is likely hired by OU within two years, Vols lose in the end anyway.

idk if Heupel is leaving Tenn at least not with Nico there.

but maybe Nico would follow him.

I never discount the call of an Alma Mater.

That being said the point is moot if Venables then goes and gets hired by like Alabama.

BV will not get fired this year. Wont happen. Even his boss and the BMD's know he is fighting injuries and rebuilding. They arent as dumb or impatient as ridiculous OU fans are.

You may want to go talk to Danny White because that's his man he brought along with him from Central Florida.

He'll just write a fat check.

Heupel isn't going anywhere. Danny White and our billionaires will make sure of it.

We have one of the best, if not the best, NIL collectives in the nation. We have a chancellor who will strap on her balls and fight off the NCAA. Heupel has built a program, why walk off for a dumpster fire.

You can't pay him more. He will have to start over. Will the admins back him?

Will the Stench of Stoops still be on the Oklahoma program? Josh isn't working with Big Game Bob again.

This is a stupid thread. Heupel has a great thing at Tennessee. He’s not coaching OU, ever. Venables just got an extension for three seasons. Stop the nonsense.

But they don’t. You went from being one of the top 2 most committed to success teams in the Big 12 to around 5th or 6th in the SEC.

Isn't the buyout north of $30 million if he's fired this year?

This is the kinda post you make when you’re preparing to lose. I like our chances in Norman. I liked them last year as a tossup even when OU was favored and I like them even more now. But it’s still the first true road game for a RS frosh and should be a competitive game. Both teams are going to find an extra gear for conference play.

OU is too broke to fire the coach they just extended 4 months ago.

Tennessee is not a winning program

They are worse than Texas. They look promising during the season then shite the bed at some point.

You can tell Tennessee got humbled a bit because their posters are still a little less annoying than they were that season they beat Bama.

Texas fans need to have that experience as well. Last year apparently was not enough for them. They were under the impression that all the suckage is erased by moving to a new conference.

Boy

This 42-13 beatdown and the fact college baseball's best resides in Knoxville is really getting to you.
