Winning at McNeese means literally nothing

I’d argue that it definitely means something.

McNeese State basketball history since 1972-73:

30+ wins
Post-Wade - 0 (1 season)
Wade - 1 (2 seasons)
Pre-Wade - 0 (51 seasons)

25+ wins
Post-Wade - 1 (1 season)
Wade - 2 (2 seasons)
Pre-Wade - 0 (51 seasons)

20+ wins
Post-Wade - 1 (1 season)
Wade - 2 (2 seasons)
Pre-Wade - 8 (51 seasons) only 3 of them have come since 1986-87.

Matt McMahon was great at Murray State and was terrible at LSU. Big success at a small school means nothing

McNeese State and Murray State are not the same.

McNeese State NCAA appearances before Will Wade: 2

Murray State NCAA appearances in the same time frame before McMahon: 13

I think the most overrated coaches are prob Jon Gruden(I am a Tampa Bay fan and still agree), Jimbo Fisher, James Franklin, Mario Cristobal, Doc Rivers.

Sounds like Kentucky's coach.
Correct.

And you see us on here screaming "fire the sorry sonofabitch," not making a thousand threads about how great he is. It would behoove LSU fans to think that through

An LSU fan didn't start this thread. As usual, we are just responding to another troll thread.

Just about every coach in Murray State’s history has a 600+ winning percentage.

McNeese St comparison:

I am sure you will also notice that Murray State began playing in 1936 while McNeese began in 1973. Murray had made the NCAA tourney a couple times before McNeese even began playing.

Which is why I only counted the 13 NCAA appearances of Murray State from 1987-88 until McMahon started coaching in 2015-16……

Helps explain why LSU rehired Wade, right?

You can sorta say Wade at VCU was similar to McMahon @ Murray State. Wade won 20+ games a season consistently at LSU, and won the SEC once. Murray had LSU challenging for 17th place. All that demonstrates, you don't know until you know.
LSU knows Wade can win there. At an elite level? Not sure yet, although winning the conference wasn't bad.

LSU knows Wade could win at LSU before NIL. Now that everyone is making strong arse offers above the table, you can’t assume Wade is going to recreate that.

Wow you are in lead in series we suck so you say. Sure there are many really bad basketball schools that lead series against the all and powerful VOLS! Even wrote VOLS in uppercase since they are so great. Is that better?
