Will Wade gives update on LSU roster

“We’re practicing with 15 guys. We have 15 players, we have a full roster, we have everybody here, we have everybody in school. We’re still working through eligibility with three or four of them, we’re going to have a really good team,” Wade said.
“All the guys that we can get eligible and need eligible by the first game, will be eligible. We may have to work through some stuff with some of these exhibitions, which is fine. But we feel good about where we are.”
He also had this to say...
“Like I told our guys, we're going to be unconventional. We're going to be unapologetic about it. This is who we are. This is what we're doing. This is the path that we charted. We're going to go down it, and that's fine."
"When you do stuff that's unconventional, they're waiting for you to fail. Everybody's waiting for us to fail. That's fine. If we fail, I own it. I own it."
"But I felt this is the best way to try to deliver a championship team for LSU from the jump that gives us the best chance to jumpstart our program. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong."

Has there ever been a coach that has been given two show causes, at the same school no less?
Because that’s well within the cards if he plays a player that signed a 2 way contract, which is literally an NBA contract in defiance of the SEC and NCAA rules.

This is from the recruiting board. I've seen a lot of similar stuff on On3. I'm too lazy to put in the first names.
Currently Eligible (New '26-27 EM Projection)
1. Dioubate - 83
2. Ugochukwu - 822
3. Bashir - 1167
4. Bender - 2078
5. Nunez - 2913
Temporarily Eligible under TRO; Preliminary Injunction Hearing 9/29
6. Dent - 25
7. Clark - 152
Currently Ineligible under SEC rule
8. Luis JR - Not rated, as he is not expected to play CBB in '26-27
Currently Awaiting NCAA Clearance (Recent reports in Euro media indicate that none of the LSU players have been cleared, despite a number of other internationals getting recent NCAA decisions).
9. Niang - 145 - Cavs did not bring him on early. May be ineligible under new SEC rule. Recent Italian media reports that his buy-out has not been paid to his team, despite earlier reports that it had.
10. Ruzik - 226 - Profile closely aligns with other internationals that have recently been cleared by the NCAA.
11. Dessert - 274 - Anadolu Efes Istanbul lists him on their roster, but reports him as inactive in media updates. May be ineligible under new SEC rule.
12. Santos - 159 - Rumors that he is out.
13. Levy - 1328 - wouldn't be the worst player on the roster
That's about as close you're gonna get for names of potential players. We don't really know for sure. A few do allegedly. But they won't say the names. But, it's been consistently that we've had 15 guys practicing for a couple weeks now.
