shite do you remember what happened last year on your own field? We beat the breaks off you 62-24. We have a better team this year and you think we won’t score 50+ against this year at home? Your delusional if you think your holding UT under 30 in Knoxville.

Auburn should hire Golding. He's the best in the business. With every penny. Get him before someone else does...

All the db has to do is get his head around. You are making a mountain out of a mole hill.
Proper technique and there is no flag (and probably an INT)

But it starts with winning at the line of scrimmage with 5 defenders
Yeah kind of. But you can't have the dbacks cheating at all. They all have to stay spread out in order to stop the quick strike.
So you really have to stop the run with ONLY those five. Even the linebackers will have to drop into coverage.
If you can do that once in a while, you'll still have to deal with UT's top redzone offense.
Everyone keeps forgetting that, and assuming all our points come off quick strikes.
They don't

Bamas safeties had a ton of missteps.
I firmly believe that we have better talent at safety and better coaching (smart, muschamp, and brown)

Technically, no. It is not illegal for a DB to come downhill and make a tackle. Lol
But you are correct. No missteps on pass play responsibilities. First step back every time.

In zone, none of them need to drop back. In man 2 high, one will need to follow the running back. We could man 1 high and send all 5 or 6 if we wanted to. But it would be a death wish to be predictable on that.

You have a good red zone offense.
We have a good red zone defense.
I honestly think this favors our defense just because your offense IS predicated on space and you just don't have it any longer.
We are #2 in the country in redzone scoring defense. We have been 1 or 2 for 23 games now.

See that’s where I have problem with the call because you’re banking on a lot of speculation. Most of the time the PI is called on an under thrown ball the DB is beat. When you’re beat you are taught to try and catch up and play the receivers arms or Atleast catch him and tackle him after the catch. If you’re beat by a half step or a step when you turn ur head you’re already losing another step on the guy so now he’s gone. My problem with the PI call is when the QB under throws it because he has a noodle arm and the PI bails out the QB or when the D-Line does it’s job and gets to the QB making him under throw it and then gets penalized for the under throw. Now obviously if the DB runs through the receiver way before the ball gets there then it should be PI but when it’s close I think it should be treated like an uncatchable ball and ignored. You’re penalizing the Defense for either doing it’s job up front or the QB sucking.

Offenses come and go.... Defenses learn to adjust... Cycle continues.

Sooooo...... you are saying that what happened last season matters for Tennessee @ Missouri. But it doesn't matter for UGA @ Tennessee?

OM stopped TN by faking about 10 injuries.
Also, wouldn’t compare this year TN to last years

Ummmmm.
Don't get beat?
Again, you are complaining about a call which resulted from a mistake by the DB.
Maybe you need to recruit better.
Or coach better.
Or both.

Here we go...
The old give too much credit to the X's and O's and not near enough credit to the Fred's and Joe's.
Tenn O coordinator will get promotion to NFL OC position and peter out in 2 years max, while Tenn QB and WR start to tear up NFL in a couple of years.
Script has been written. Learning history just does not take root on this board.

Lmao you completely missed my point. You are asking a DB to make 12 decisions in a split second and then get penalized because everything else went wrong. Im speaking about the rule in general not just for my team. The offense now a days has every rule in their favor. To me it’s the same as an uncatchable ball. Just instead of an overthrow it’s under through. Yea the DB shouldn’t get beat, but the QB also shouldn’t under throw a pass by 15-20 yards and the o line shouldn’t get beat like a rented mule. 2 or 3 guys fail to do their job on the play but only the DB is penalized and he’s being asked to do the most. Or Atleast make the call where a defender hitting the QB acts like a batted ball and make it where PI can’t be called.

It is uncatchable because the DB is impeding the receiver who is actively trying to get to the ball.
Got it. And that shouldn't be a pass interference when the receiver has to come back to the QB to make the catch.
You should be on the rules committee.
I could restate the two times that a DB can get away with contact and not draw the flag... but you don't seem to care.

For the second consecutive year Alabama defeated Georgia, this time rolling over the Bulldogs 41-24. It was Alabama's seventh straight win in the series.
Prior to Saturday, no one had scored more than 17 points against Georgia, but Alabama put up 24 points alone in the second quarter. Bryce Young carved up the nation's top-rated defense, finishing with 421 passing yards, while wide receiver Jameson Williams had seven catches for 184 yards.
The reigning national champions tallied 536 total yards of offense.

Lol. That UGA clip was a blast from the past. That was a Todd Grantham defense.
