So?
There are rules in place that prohibit SEC member institutions and their representatives from undermining the league.
LSU has had enough trouble lately beating one SEC school. They will fare far worse when they try to take on all 15 at once.
If LSU keeps this up they will find out they are not bigger than the SEC.
The whole LSU us against the world sctick is all fun and games until the rest of the world gets tired of it and stuffs LSU in a locker.

Your only miscalculation is that LSU isn't fighting the SEC here, a bunch of players and their attorneys are.

LSU is not suing the SEC. the 30 ex players have lawyers and they are suing.

Local judges can’t make up laws.
Greg Stankey makes up SEC rules at the drop of a hat.

The NCAA's rules specifically allow them to punish a member school for rules violated during a TRO's active period.
Link? Sounds like BS. Sounds like Tom.Mars. (Pardon the redundancy)

The TRO will prohibit the conferences from retroactively punishing the schools, just like they do now.
Yeah, but if the entire TRO is dissolved on appeal, that protection can vanish too. Yeah, you could argue that you shouldn’t be punished because of a good faith belief in the TRO, but you still act at your peril to some degree.

There was one SEC school that abstained from voting yesterday. That school was LSU.
But that’s fine, everyone but the LSU fans here expect that LSU will have their voting rights on league matters revoked soon enough. Kiffin can’t help himself and LSU doesn’t have strong enough leadership to keep him from self destructing.
The most damning thing for LSU is that you say that LSU is in the clear. That means LSU is fricked.
