Taylor was indicted in November on two felony counts of aggravated assault for a July 22 incident in Athens, Ga. Taylor struck his girlfriend several times with a closed fist and "offensively used his hands to choke her," according to an UGA police report. The incident left the woman with "visible scratches and red marks to her neck and bruises on her arm and leg," according to the police report. The marks were consistent with someone "being choked around the neck," according to UGA police Lt. Eric Dellinger.

tRant has a few direct questions to ask the man...

What? No mention of his trying to double dip his stipend check a few months earlier?

Well, to be honest I didn't know he was arraigned on TWO Felonious assault charges stemming from this latest case and it seemed a little factious to bring up his petty larceny charges at the same time.

Basically you have a killer running loose on campus right now placing students, faculty and police lives in jeopardy.

I hope they have an ankle bracelet on him for the public safety at large.

He will if you're a 5* recruit. He's busy building an all-world recruiting class. Shouldn't your coach be doing the same?

Nah, everyone will be fine. Police in the south are directed to shoot on site anything wearing a flat bill or NOT wearing a belt.

I don't agree with it......but it is the law.

Meh, Saban let pettway back on campus after 2nd degree robbery charges against students, so obviously it's no big deal to him.

Saban is as hypocritical as they come. He changes his position on issues for his advantage. He is a good coach but he sacrifices moral principles for personal gain. I do not respect the man at all.

Really?

You have proof that his stance has EVER been something other than this?

The bench warrant was withdrawn, and it is possible that one of the caveats is that he be found innocent in a court of law.

I do know that some of the info released stated that there were a host of conditions along with his enrollment, including anger management classes and community service. It seems that Saban is hellbent on making him a decent, contributing member of society.
