I agree with the sentiment, but the SEC is always going to choose its horses.

You'll notice hot teams seem to get a lot more favorable calls than others and in part I blame the way the selection for the Playoff is.

I wouldn't be surprised if Florida got a lot of its calls going its way since Georgia has proven itself as entirely erratic.

The SEC will always shoot to get two teams in the title game, and with the way the CFP is I understand the business decision. That being said: I don't want to watch a bullshite game just as much as anyone. Including you. I don't want to win games in that manner or lose them, because if they had called the game as they were in the first half there's a good chance Florida loses. There are only so many one-sided calls that a team can overcome.

I honestly wish there was no such thing as "SEC" refs or that we periodically shifted to lesser conferences. The only problem is that refs from other conferences will absolutely submarine others.

It's a giant fricking mess.

Excellent post. Bravo, good sir.

Florida ran him out too soon. He would have brought you at least three SEC East division championships and countless Outback bowl participation trophies by now

SC has been screwed over by the officials as much as any team around and I am not a SC fan.

The SEC offices can come out with all of their excuses they want but when it is all said and done SC is being screwed over and has been in the past.

I am convinced of bias in NFL officiating. You play New England and you will be called for pass interference and New England won't be called for it.

BINGO. And Mayfield complained about the officiating during a press conference on Wednesday. He knows Cleveland isn’t going to get calls in New England. He called out the officials and he’s right. So now, he can’t lose. Either the refs give them some calls against New England (slim and none and slim left the building) or the refs will double down and litter the field with a barrage of yellow flags pointed at Cleveland. I’ll take the latter for $5,000 Alex. The league is overrun with rogue referees and it’s losing a lot of interest on my part. Now the NFL apologists can come out and toot their horns about high tv ratings and all that. I don’t care about ratings. I don’t watch movies based on whether or not other people watched them or not. Some movies are interesting. Same thing with a sporting event. If the narrative is already created, I won’t waste my time to watch.

St. Louis Rams against New England in the Super Bowl! Perfect example.

We’re leaving again. This time it will be over socialized medicine and when they do away with the second amendment. Valid reasons

Maybe they got hosed, but dude needs to move on. He’s doing a good job with this team. He had a plan and a well-motivated team and took out Georgia in Athens. Impressive. Next game up.

He was answering a question to a call in radio show. That's the only reason it got brought up on a Thursday after the game.

South Carolina fans have argued persuasively ITT and have changed my mind. I agree with them now. This shite is unfair and it needs to be changed. The sorry arse SEC refs have cost them too many games to count. Were it not for bad officiating Carolina would probably have several more SEC titles than they currently have. shite's not right and it needs to change!!

He laid on the QB for almost 10 seconds then pushed him into the ground getting up. It was subtle but damn sure an intentional unsportsmanlike act. Everyone without bias knows what the UT defender was doing was taunting the QB.

Oh my, this is gold. The number of dirty hits Alabama put on opposing QB's and nothing called. Wow.

It's OK just get the Presidents together and take a couple away from Florida. We are used to that. We seem to be the 2nd most bitched about team behind Bama for officials favoring us, so have at it. I really genuinely feel bad for long suffering SC fans, and this can be your reparations for all the bad that has been done to you by the conference.

Please accept our sincere apology!

I haven't bitched at all, because at the end of the day the score isn't going to change. I honestly don't give a frick. Me 7 or so years ago would still be bitching about it.
