USCe fans can boost about being ranked 3rd in the conference in recruiting but deep down even they know they will fall back to the middle of the pack . USCe will not finish in the top 5 in recruiting in this conference. They have had two 8th ranked recruiting class in conference with Muschamp as the head coach .

2010 had a great crop of SC kids that panned out for y'all, too. Lattimore, Cann, Hampton. I don't know why I didn't realize Shaw wasn't from SC; I thought he was from Columbia, but he turned out to be a huge cog in that wheel.
Wasn't Shaw from Gainesville or Jefferson Georgia?

This appears to be a top 20 class by the time this is all said and done, which is good for over there

That's such bullshite.
You guys have ranked 19th or better once since the 2013 class, so I mean it's really not an insult to say a top 20 class would be good for SC.

If Smack is correcting some false information, I guess.

I have nothing against USCe, he just said something that was incorrect.

I guess he felt like the other guy was talking down about USCe but he wasn't wrong. I wouldn't have a problem admitting that a top 20 class would be good at my school.

I’m not sure why rooster lost his shite again, but you’re correct. They’ll probably land Savion Jackson, who I like a lot. However, based on the star system they’re looking at a class in the 13-15 range, which is excellent for SCAR. They’ll probably be 6th or 7th in the SEC. Their football program isn’t an easy sell, so you have to give Champ credit.

I just looked at the 247 composite rankings and USC's average ranking is the same as it was for last year's number 20 class, even with that 5 star. Muschamp must have been killing it last year too

While thats true, and not that it would make a huge difference, we do have the #1 Juco DE and DT and Juco's don't typically get their ratings updated until much later in the process.

I think UGA is frontloaded this year. That average will come down by a few points when all is said and done.

Yeah I don't see Muschamp killing it either according to that link.

I get why the Florida folks are down on Muschamp, he flat out did not get it done down there, but I do think he learned from it and is a better HC this time around. Time will tell how far he can take Carolina but considering the mess he inherited he has done pretty well so far.

Classes usually don't end up with that high an average rating. But it will probably be like in the high 93s which is still insane and a lock for a top 2 class, if not #1

I don't think we finish that high this year. Top 5 maybe.
