FOR THE LOVE OF RETARDED MONKEY SKULL frickING!!!
Yet ANOTHER thread talking about how Johnny will get Uganda fricked in the arse and carted off in buckets.
We get it. Somebody is gonna frick him up. It hasn't happened yet. Not even close. But it will happen. Keep praying. One day it will come true.

Next year, The rest of the SEC will have a better handle on limiting Johnny. A&M needs to get more play makers involved in the offense, if they want to go to the next level.
Welp, you know nothing.

Oh, and if Johnny goes down, you're dead in the water. No insult or offense there, just fact. Your scheme isn't beating anyone, it's that hyper-puppy runs around making crazy plays out of his arse. You get a more disciplined guy back there, and you're then an average team.
I mean, if it makes you feel better.

FWIW, Tebow in his sophomore season had probably 50% more of the responsibility in the offense than Manziel does at this point.
Manziel has a lot more playmakers in this offense, than Tebow had in 07.
UF's offense in 07 was basically, Tebow, Harvin, or bust.
A&M has Manziel, Swope, Adams, Michael, Molina, etc..
They're pretty versatile.

A&M fans should be worried that they're losing 2 of the top o-linemen in the country.

Tebow had 50 points on him and it caught up with him. My advice to Manziel is improve the passing game and always be pass first/think like a pocket passer. Then use your legs once they stop pursuing. And I would pick up yardage and hook slide a well.

even with no injuries, I think in the next few years, the good defenses will be better prepared for him and he won't be quite as effective

I agree with this, but not solely for his safety. He needs to throw the damn ball and stop trying to do it all himself at times.

Someday he'll probably juke when he should have jived and somebody will lay the wood. His lack of size could play a factor but he's a tough kid. I'm sure he'd survive.

Next year, we'll have Brandon Williams and Tra Carson eligible.

Hey bud, Bree's doesn't scramble around like a madman. He lives in the pocket.

I know every scrambling QB in the league gets beaten to a pulp. It just shows how important it is to keep good protection around him.

Odds are against it if he continues to run the ball at the same pace. Then again Pat White was a similar QB and played pretty much injury free if I remember correctly.

He's so slippery it's hard to get a kill shot. He's only been hit hard a couple of times and that was when he was hanging in the pocket.

There were concerns about Michael Vick getting injured. I think most of his big hits were when he was in the pocket, looking to pass, and not seeing the guy coming. I wonder if the 'if (fill-in-the-blank) runs, he'll get hurt' is a bit of a myth. Isn't most of the big hits on QB's they show on highlight reels when they are standing in the pocket?

The biggest shot I've seen Mett take (that I remember) was from a DB blitzing of the edge. Had to leave the game for a play.

I doubt it, considering how many times he runs the ball but I also thought Tebow was going to get hurt seriously during his college tenure. Tebow was a lot tougher though.

I don't think he stays injury free in the future with his is style of play.
I think it more the age and depth of his O line. If he is behind an all senior line this season that would change drastically if his O line next season was all sophomores.
