Seems like a pretty decent chance of it, assuming he can hold off hyper talented true freshman Bryce Young.

He gets 4/5 offensive lineman returning, including his center and LT.

Gone are Ruggs and Jeudy, but in their place are Smith and Waddle plus a mix of talented freshman and veteran receivers.

Najee Harris and Trey Sanders bring a lightning and thunder flavor to the backfield, which could take away from the passing game.

LSU returns two top receivers but Brennan is an unknown at this point. Will be interesting to see if he’s really NFL starter quality as some insiders claim. Lack of experience along the O Line could be a factor.

Ole Miss might be a dark horse candidate but I don’t think Lane has the horses yet.

This all sounds so... familiar.

Agreed. Reminds me of the D. Henry and Kenyan Drake tandem

Mark it down, Mac Jones smashes Joe Burrow's records next year.

Kyle trask has as good a chance as anyone if he stays healthy and Mullen doesn’t rotate qbs too much. Unless the running game takes off but I doubt that happens this year.

My money would be on Trask but Mac Jones is going to be up there and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if he does lead the SEC is passing.

would not be surprised. The boy is a pretty good looking QB, and the receivers coming back, I suspect he just might do that very thing

Costello and it won't really be close. It took Burrow two extra games to catch up and pass Gordon this past year

No. Alabama runs an archaic offense. Until they learn how to develop QB’s in a modern offense like LSU, they’ll be around middle of the pack in the sec.

Does Bama still have WRs to run quick slants? If Tua can be a Heisman finalist on the backs of his WRs, Mac probably can too.

Forgot about the Pirate as well

It’s going to be super interesting to see if his offense will work in the SEC
