Is Kirby actually looking at the player he shoves? He looks like he’s focused on something beyond the player.

Yeah, he was yelling at someone else (another UGA coach I think). I don’t think he actually saw that it was an MSU player, but he needs to be in more control than that.

I’m not clutching pearls over this, but if you watch it, Kirby obviously turns his head to follow MVB running out of bounds and then starts charging down the sideline.
Not sure where he expected MVB to be, but it’s pretty clear he knew he was in that area.
Again, don’t really care about suspension or any shite like that, I do have a different view of Kirby Smart now, though

If we expect players to have awareness then that is double for coaches. He is in the field of play and as a head coach knows what is going on in the game. He saw the player go to the sideline and if he is that clueless to push an opposing player, he should be suspended for minimum a game.

I believe Kirby was trying to get after and yell at one of our coaches and the didn’t even realize he pushed the MS state player.
Still ain’t really a good look for him though, and it’s not an excuse.

Doesn't quite rise to Woody Hayes level but there should be some form of discipline involved.
