running the offset smoker is fricking work and can be a 16 hour day on my day off…

My biggest issue with Father’s Day: hey let’s grill and spend time in the pool. Sure, you tend the grill and I’ll float for once. Never happens
This YouTuber is usually pretty fair with his criticisms. He is certainly on the more positive side of things and spins it a little, but does give critiques when warranted. This is his review of the movie and there are a few interesting nuggets on the promotion of the movie he has. I think from this, the movie will be ok but not bad as some of the recent content has been.

Emergency Awesome Mando Review
Kind of knew it was coming but great execution. Loved everything about these last two episodes.
Maul was very good and Andor was very good, that has given me a little hope that Disney can turn around the franchise, but it’s only hope right now. I would like to see some reviews of this Mando movie before committing dollars, if they are good to average then I’ll give it a shot as I’m a fan, but if they are low then I won’t. Disney has the potential and writers to put out good material, but only if they allow them and stay out of their way. unfortunately, they often times think that they need to tell Star Wars fans what we are supposed to like and then chastise us for thinking it’s shite.
Frank was a good coach, but Frank’s problem was himself. He was fool of himself and didn’t adapt, I’m sorry but you don’t sit your best RB because of a single fumble. The game has passed him up
Time for all them go to jail, I really don’t care if it’s 100 dems and 100 republicans, and we only have half of congress left. Clear the entire lot of fricks out
Football needs to be removed from the normal AD and have their own league. This new era has destroyed college athletics for the smaller sports.

I've never been one that particularly enjoys Star Wars animation, but this show is really good.

It took me a while to get into the animation series, but the story arcs and the mythology of Star Wars is really only told in the animation series. I wish they would do more with the live action, but it feels like they try and hit grand slams with those in how they cast and build them up, and every single one (except Andor) has missed badly. Filoni owns the animation and his stories work there.

Is that what we were going for?

I think it’s to put enough pressure on the regime and decimate the leadership that creates enough conflict to where they cannot function as a functioning country alone. Then negotiate a peace that requires US involvement and support to re-build. It’s a massive gamble and I would prefer to have the regime toppled, but like Venezuela, there is no organized alternative right now. We honestly have no clue as to what is going on in that country right now and the level of cooperation vs infighting amongst potential leaders.
The current design of I-45 through (around) downtown is atrocious. It backs up coming from north and south, the new plan is ambitious, but also necessary for the city to grow and become more citizen friendly. I am for this project to continue even though I’ll be retired by the time it’s done. And yes, I have lived in midtown (south of the Pierce elevated and other places in the city while working downtown throughout my career.)

Ground breaking study? nope. Neat though, and lies a foundation to build on.

I would prefer to see a study of how much chemical ends up in fish that is in the table and restaurants. I can’t wait for the first court case involving someone claiming the cocaine in their system is from that salmon sushi the night before

re: Iran has now seized two ships

US should very easily be able to verify or deny the report, but they won’t. Can’t claim a blockade and then have IRGC take a ship. But, they drop some bombs on the bitches. Time to stop playing games and re-enter the negotiating room with control. He had it, but every day the delay erodes their position.
Jeep Cherokee around 17 MPG, trading it in for new Camry hybrid this week in hope up high 40’s low 50’s. Starting to commute for work instead of taking the bus which sucks but tired of bus people.

Usually nothing major like the first child, but a get together to welcome a second or third is nothing outrageous. May be the last time that they can see their friends in a more social setting for a few months. I can also see a little more they know the gender and it’s different than their first.

Here is a very good listen on what is happening in Iran. Iran It will be a well spent 37 minutes.

Interesting information on the dynamics in the Mid East. Watching how the Board of Peace operates and develops over the next 2-3 years as Trumps presidency gets near the end of his term and also after the mid-term elections if he loses some control over congress.
if the Iranian Islamic regime remains in place then this will be a failure. We can all be glad its over, but for the people of Iran - their lives will suck even more
At least he is not on the girls team
Loading up booster again for more testing. Ready to see this thing launch
This is the modern equivalent to “let them eat cake”. Completely out to lunch
He can be such a child. I get the warnings and rough talk, but c’Mon. Make a statement and then follow through. Let the actions talk, not 6th grade x posts.
Improve public transportation and see cars get off the road. We need more trains from suburbs into towns that run on better more consistent schedules. Our cities are built to use cars, so unless we change how people get around there will always be cars on the road.
