Does he just need to wait till Greg Sankey retires? Since he lied to Sankey about the Ole Miss issues when Sankey was trying to help.

I think it would be a school like Auburn maybe Ole Miss that would give him another shot. Auburn I think would be his best chance since they could careless about his past as long as he could beat Alabama by hook or crook.

Yes. Someone will look the other way. He can win games, though Bert, of all people, had his number.

SEC football is big boy land. Someone is going to roll the dice on him even though Freeze is sleaze.

Didn't former UF players kill people?

Yes it was a terrible ordeal.

But in the grand scheme of things Auburn has the worst reputation in the SEC when it comes to cheating and anything goes to beat Alabama. Anybody that would hire Bruce Pearl can't say much. No school sold their soul more than Auburn to win that 2010 title.

yes, for whatever reason, he could not beat Bert

He'll get a shot. He is too good of a coach.

I think he'll be hired by a team that couldn't care less.

The thing that will haunt HF is he hasn’t learned a damn thing since he was fired at ole miss. Has no coaching contacts within the industry, always wants to be the smartest guy in the room, and loves himself more than most coaches. I think someone will take a chance on him and will suffer the same quick rise and fall we took. I’m happy we had it but damn the losses we took to bad arkansas teams, memphis, etc really were inexcusable for how good those teams were in 14 & 15. He will win because he’s a good coach but he will also leave you wanting more. Think of him as a more volatile Gus.

If I was him I would probably stay clear of the SEC
Maybe taking a ACC job might work better
North Carolina might be attractive once Mack hangs it up or maybe Miami or FSU if those coaches don't work out

Great point FSU would hire him in a second they don't care about his past.

He'll coach at AU after they're finished with Coach WhatsHisName, and after Freeze is done becoming a fine "christian man" once again, a man who meets AU's lofty cult standards.

No.

The only place he was able to land at Liberty. Liberty was the landing spot for assistants involved in the Baylor rape scandal.

I think that speaks for itself. Freeze can get away with anything at his current job.

I won’t believe he will until I see it. Too much baggage. He’s also really unliked in the coaching community.

I'm sure Liberty will be watching, to make sure he doesn't do anything wrong.
