LSU will have talent always to compete with anybody, that's not the question. LSU has been down the past seveal years and I believe it's our time to get back to where we should be on top. So yeah, trends do happen, and it's about time for LSU to return.

A&M and tu have essentially split the series for several decades.

It's not that simple, Aggy.

Texas vs. A&M before 1984: 62 wins Texas, 22 wins A&M (74 percent).

Texas vs. Aggy since 1995: 12-5, Texas (that's 71 percent if anyone's counting).

Any of your success against Texas has been by cheating and is essentially a blip on the radar.

meanwhile texas is pulling in top 10 classes with 5-7 as the new modus operandi, and having red mccombs host recruiting weekends.

Keep austin weird dildo.

But it does explain Honor Code U's winning spurt during that golden Aggie winning period, and the reason you thirty somethings have your even-steven boast.

All I know is that if Herman does not pull it off, they are in danger of drifting into Notre Dame

No, they don't have nearly the recruiting problems that Notre Dame has to deal with. A good coach should be able to win big at Texas. Of course, a good coach should be able to win big at A&M too, but they just can't seem to put it together. Maybe it's a State of Texas thing and the Horns will have the same problem going forward.

Generally what happens when A&M is directly referenced in the thread title

Actually, it's VERY simple, "Anointed One".

Since scholarship limitations (85) were imposed after the 1973 season, A&M's record vs. t.u. is 19-19.

Let's put it into even more perspective:

Out of your 76 wins, only 25% have come post scholarship limitation, whereas over half of ours over you (51.3%) have come in the same time period.

Thanks for your analysis. I also do not think that Herman will be Sumlin 2.0.

Agreed. I think there's a possibility that he doesn't even accomplish what sumlin has which is saying something

in this century Texas holds a 12-5 advantage and has had more success than A&M has "enjoyed" in it's entire existence.

Aggy has finished top 5 in the polls 3 times in it's history. Three times. Two of those three top 5 finishes were over 75 years ago.

Get your shine box boy and wipe that corn dog grease off your lips fool.
