You would think the runner up in the SECr’s all time GOAT QB tournament would be signed already...

A few weeks ago; I would have put money on the Patriots; but I think they’ve even lost interest now.

Yes, he will sign with and possibly be starting for an NFL team this season.

Is anyone looking for an expensive, shitty qb?

He can always extort Auburn if cash gets low.

No one wants a backup QB with a prima donna attitude.

True. Newton has the physical skills but he is immature emotionally. Newton doesn't have an ounce of "team" awareness. It's all about him.

I think he'll get signed and start for his next team - but I think the Coach & GM will put him or a very short leash. If he doesn't make a sincere effort to be a "team player" his career is over.

eta - At age 31, with his past attitude problems, there is no chance any team agrees to the terms of his Panthers deal. Cam takes a BIG pay cut in his next gig - and IMO fails to deliver.

I’ll have to reach out to his agent.

My wife could use a new stylist.

If I were him I’d pull an Andrew Luck. Plenty of money and why keep getting beat up. Despite his horrible outfits, he was nominated for man of the year in the NFL this year, so I think he’s a decent person. I could see the Chargers taking him, but who knows.

ten years later and it’s still hurts you. Outside of one shitty receiver, his teammates have said he is a great team player

this has nothing to do with your delusions of cam and everything to do with an nfl life expectancy

I think teams are more concerned he’ll be trying to date his teammates instead of throwing to them.

It is hard to believe that he has played in 25 more NFL games that Bert Jones did in his 9 year career.
