Why would Alabama fans want to roll Toomer's Corner?

I don't understand. Why would we want to copy Auburn?

I have no desire to do it. Don't care bout those trees. Want nothing to do with them. Just trees. Nothing special about rolling them. Call me crazy, but that's not appealing to me

Eggs-Zac-Lee.
Take a win and head on back to civilization.

I'm not a fan of this idea

Only one reason. To piss them off.
Hell just talking about doing it sends them into a rage on an anonymous message board.

I think it has a lot to do with the two sects of Alabama fans. I'm not one to break it down to "alums vs sidewalk alums" because I never attended UA and am a huge fan. I think it has more to do with self awareness. Too many UA fans aren't aware that they make our brand look bad with this shite. Probably true of all fan bases, but we have a really large fan base and they are a very vocal minority

I'd imagine their are more creative ways to get under their skin besides copying them.

Yeah like moving the game back to legion field. That would be awesome and hilarious at the same time.

We don't acknowledge state, and it pisses them off. Try doing that.

Auburn fans are scared of that part of town
Posted on 11/24/11 at 10:49 pm to memphisplaya
They'd secretly love that because it'd give them a built-in excuse for losing

Works for me. No reason to acknowledge them.

I dont understand it either. Rolling those trees is their dumbass tradition that they think is legit but in all reality the entire nation is laughing at them. I say we just beat them and party afterwards. I wouldn't mind it if UGA fans tried to set them on fire again... that was funny as hell.

It's a very dumb idea, but like most dumb ideas, has the potential for hilarity

Yea having an Auburn home game every year the past 20 years just isn't fair.

I agree completely. Any Bama fan that would want or attempt to roll Tumors Corner should be ashamed of themself. An 18-19 year old student might get a pass, but any adult fan that would try to do this needs to get a fricking life. It's embarrassing quite honestly.

LSU fans would never allow a visiting team that wins in TS to push over the porta pottys
THAT TRADITION IS ALL OUR's

I really don't think any fans are seriously considering doing this, but are only threatening to do this to make them mad. I don't see anything different than what they did last year to our grass. We both need to stop messing with each other's property. Be an adult, if you win, celebrate with your own people, if you lose, be a grown up and just leave. If you can't congratulate the other team, then leave. Don't give them the satisfaction of knowing that you're mad.
