They were right to be confident.

They didn’t expect to leave at least 13 first quarter points on the field

This makes me laugh because yes, OM made mistakes, but LSU made a multitude of stupid mistakes as well. OM plays a clean game and they win big, conversely if LSU did the same they win big.

Maybe now after years of having to deal with all the Lane simps (even amongst out own damn fans) they might finally understand.

Oh who am I kidding, they're gonna have a bye week and then probably beat an OU team that has no offense and then Lane will be coaching Jesus again in their minds.

That's dumb, Kiffin consistently leaves points on the field.

Umm no. You learned we do have some guys on our depleted defense. You learned, and I’m quoting ABearsFanNMS, “that guy is a dude.” About several LSU defenders.

You missed one wide open pass and FG. The rest was LSU’s defense coming together and getting stops. Dart was the same lame dart he’s always been under pressure

We were confident because this LSU team isn’t that good, and talent wise this is among our best teams

That didn’t change. LSU wasn’t very good, and was statistically beaten by OM for the majority of the game. OM beat themselves flat out

I’m not going to complain about it, it is what it is and we are soft bitches who choke. But our pregame shite talking was founded on LSU not being that good, and nothing about that was proven wrong

This is 100% true.

That still doesn’t mean LSU is good. It means we aren’t good

Good LSU teams of the past would have won this game by 17+ points. You couldn’t run the ball at all.

Don’t be mad about it, we thought we would win because this isn’t a good LSU team when we have a lot of actual good LSU teams from the past to measure against.

...except you lined up against LSU on the same field, both teams played sloppy, refs didn't insert themselves, and you lost.

Take your moral victory and "we beat ourselves" if that's the salve that eases the burn today, but in OT when it mattered the most, your team went backwards and LSU made the play and beat you straight up.

Don't forget the basketball goal in Baton Rouge.

You said Ole Miss was going to "absolutely crush" LSU.

Where did you get the confidence that Ole Miss was that good?

Yeah, because we suck. It is now undeniable. Good teams capitalize on the opportunities we had, and we didn’t, because we’re not a good football team

To be fair, they had every reason to be confident. LSU did not look good going into this

Bet they’re glad they won’t have to play us again

Really?

How about the damn score! Your playing in Tiger Stadium DA ; your team and coach should really be smarter than that.

Well let’s see. Because this is an anonymous message board. And if it came true I’d be able to gloat about it, and if it didn’t come true I could come back afterwards and say awe shucks.

What do you think this message board is?

Ole Myth is overrated.... if you watched the UK game you knew it. I knew our Oline would handle their pass rush in the passing game and said so. We threw it 51 times....no sacks.

honestly, LSU’s defense has only improved ever since some of our so-called STARZ went down and some of the younger newer guys have stepped up

I posted this Saturday. I think when Perkins got hurt it allowed for the defense to come together as a collective instead of shifting Perkins all over the field like he’s a one man wrecking crew.

I expect the defense to improve in the 2ndary this week.

This season reminds me of 2007 where no one makes it out undefeated and there will be controversy over who makes the playoffs because it will be littered with 1 and 2 loss teams that have all beaten each other
