You are arguing that attendance can exceed tickets sold. You have it mixed up; tickets sold can exceed attendance.

Not likely because that is not the attendance standard, it's using tickets sold. Theoretical but not practical.

Even that's not true. Some schools count attendance under the "stadium capacity" figure. They count everyone that enters the stadium, including media, guests, etc. Tennessee does that, so their attendance number is often larger than the number of tickets that can be sold.

Bama has always used seating capacity as opposed to stadium capacity. So no need to worry about the concession stand.
I'm simply pointing out that "attendance" does not necessarily mean tickets sold. I have no idea if the games were sold out in 2004, and I honestly don't care.

Honestly, who is denying it? I've seen multiple posters admit that Bama's attendance in 2004 was 98% of capacity.
