Wasn't fired or demoted. While O was interim coach he took over for Cam Cameron as OC. LSU's offense improved dramatically and when the season ended and O was hired people questioned if he would stay on as OC and he said he didn't want to be an OC. Not sure how true that is but that's what happened.

Yea, we’ll I thought Kirby hiring Jim Chaney was a terrible hire, but looks pretty good now.

we're not losing to a & m, moo state or florida.
we need to win at least one out of Georgia and alabama. i'll take alabama if we can't win both.
we have personnel on the Oline and we have confidence in our Oline coach. burrow will be the best qb we've had in a long time - better than mettenberger.
I think ensminger will run a good offense.

My Prediction -
LSU will probably lose 5 games this year - Alabama, Texas A&M, Georgia, Florida, and Mississippi State. LSU will probably receive an Independence Bowl invitation.
Considering we lacked depth and lost 2 games bc of a FG kicker, LSU was 6 points from 11 wins.
I think we have upgraded on both lines and Danny fricking Etling was the 4th -5 best passer in the SEC last year. I 100% think we upgrade at QB.
I am not saying LSU is going to win the SEC, but after LSU skull fricks Miami, I think LSU only loses 2 games. Could be 3. But LSU will win 10 games next year I think.

Ensminger was the OC at LSU in 2016 when the Tigers went into CS and racked up:
622 yards
28 first downs
20-28 passing for 324 yards and 2 TDs
and 54 points.
Certainly you were at that game, no?
Compare that to the previous year when LSU had:
17 first downs
327 yards
7-21 passing for 83 yards and an int
and only 19 points.
...And the OC was Cam Cameron.

Etling is underrated, while I do think JB is more talented Etling has intangibles that made up for his weaknesses.

I don't get it. LSU is irrelevant now and haven't been relevant since Bruce Jenner was a dude. The program has gone down the shitter and it would take a major reset to bring it back. I just see things as a LSU fan that Tennessee fans started to see a couple years ago.

This is a fair deal to me. 9-3 with a bowl win making it 10 total wins is not bad to me considering the strength of schedule.

Have you been reading this board at all?? Obviously we don’t expect anything extraordinary this season, but we sure as hell won’t be a 6-6 team like almost everyone else predicts on here.
