Just win baby!

seriously, I think so many high school players are in systems similar to ours that recruiting may actually be a little easier as far as finding players who can contribute early. Also with Bama, UGA, LSU, and Florida being more pro style it might put us on some guys they overlook bc of style.

In general, I think the key is to stick to your base offense, but make subtle matchup chnges week to week and season to season. The SEC west is going to be very competitive for all 7 teams over the next decade. I would be surprised if any team went to ATL more than 4 times in 10 years.

The meltdown is going to be so pleasing. Are u Gumps going to be able to handle going 8-4 for awhile and remain in good health. This post is hilarious. U were so lucky to win what u did, and now u wanna dis on AU's success

Bama averaging 8-4 over the next few years?.

Auburn will choke next year, guranteed. It's tough to handle success and remain at the top year in and year out, which is why what Saban has done at Bama is so impressive.

It's hilarious that it's mostly LSU fans jumping in to defend Auburn

I just want you to know, you're the fan that pisses off the good Bama fans

You're one of the reasons Alabama alumni have to say "I went to Alabama" when they tell people they're an Alabama fan, just so they know they are not an absolute dumbshit, like yourself

Auburn had the 104th ranked pass defense last season which ultimately led to their demise in the NCG. If this aspect of their defense doesn't improve significantly, opponents will be burning them early and often.

You can dedicate a thousand threads to Bama decline, but just one that criticizes Auburn leads to such rustled jimmies that I get labeled as a sidewalk fan (I am an alumni, fwiw)

Point out those threads

If they do exist, it's because there actually is evidence of a coming decline

Your post is based on retardation.

Well seeing how results are all we care about, why would we disagree? It's not like a style of offense can be immoral or anything.

What we saw out of Malzahn this year was "Traditional Auburn football" anyways. We're going to run it down your throat whether you know it's coming or not.

.....You can always count on an Alabama fan saying that whenever AU wins the SEC and Auburn people say the exact same thing whenever Bama wins the conference. It's guaranteed.

I didn't mean it like that what I was meaning was I know there are some Aubies who like the BAMA/Stanford more traditional pro style not that there is anything wrong with Gus's offensive philosophy it was just a question I always wanted to ask barn fans who really watch football.

After 2012, I haven't seen many asking for pro-style and none after 2013.

Better to just sit back and let Gus and Rhett do what they came to Auburn to do. Score points.

We won a championship with it. Why would we be against it?

It was just general question that I wanted to ask, because I am good friends with a few au alumni and even they admit it is a bit unorthodox and it takes certain athletes to run it but I don't know anybody that can argue with results.

AU fans don't think we're gonna win it all in 2014, but if you don't think the future is bright in Auburn, then you're a goddamn moron.

I just enjoy great football like I would think most fans would. Auburn is a lot of fun to watch! I had friends that weren't even into football that much watch every game with me because this style of offense was so exciting. I enjoy both styles of offense, any style really. I don't see why so many people get so worked up about somebody running a different offense. It's ridiculous.

"they run dat der hurry up booshit! they must be queers!"

OP - No one is rustled, everyone just thinks you are dumb and melting. Read your replies.

6. HUNH: His offense was something that most SEC teams were unprepared for. Every team will be studying film and spending time during the off season figuring out the best way to combat it (instead of sitting back and reading, teams must attack and penetrate the line of scrimmage like Florida State did in the second half)

That's what everyone said about JFF and A&M. Bama & Saban clearly had it figured out after an entire off season

5. The rest of SEC was down this year: Barners may argue against this, but the fact that FSU won the national title says something.

This is stupid beyond words. How does a the fact that a team that is loaded with talent and the best QB in CFB winning the title mean the SEC was down? Typical sore loser Bammer comment.
