Why isn’t Drinkwitz mentioned for any jobs?

he’s an up and comer (38), bounced around a few mid level programs, at a school that doesn’t take athletics seriously and has rocks in their end zone. Seems he could be had if anyone was interested.

Because he hasn't done anything and it's hard to take anyone seriously who carries a sabre and pretends to be a Jedi.

When he turned down the Arkansas job before coming to Missouri, it sent a message that he wants to build something at Missouri and cares about more than just money. So that’s why he won’t get poached for a while

I think it has to do with him turning down the Arkansas job and taking the Mizzou position.

Mizz fans are the same as OM fans with this. They are mad they got grifters who will leave them high and dry and we made the perfect hire.
Drink has thrown his hat in the ring for all these open jobs the same as lane. He just isn't a "splash" hire so it isn't getting any attention. I really think he would be a great choice for LSU or FL but they will probably make much more popular but worse hires.

You don’t? Because the average recruit ranking for Mizzou’s 2022 class is a 4* and Arkansas’ is a mid level 3*. Arkansas historically has recruited better than Mizzou and is also having a better season, so this should be concerning to you. Once Drink really gets things rolling, you are just going to be recruiting the guys we don’t offer

This is correct. If we kick their arse every year with the poor recruiting classes we've had, what's going to happen when we really start putting some talent on the field? They might not win for another decade.

Pretty much. I wanted Kiffin, but I knew this wasn’t a final stop on the train. I knew he would jump to Alabama if offered, I didn’t think he would feel up the skirt of every school that opens for a raise every year though.

Eh, our class is basically done and has a LS and P pulling it down a bit. Drink has done well but will he be able to keep pulling 4 stars to keep that rating up? You guys still have a lot of spots to fill unless he is planning on getting 15 guys from the portal.

Our class was pretty much finished when the season started. We might grab a few more since the new transfer rules got approved. Any we get will improve our average rating.

This is just wishful thinking. Drink will bail on you for a bigger school with more support the second he "gets it rolling".
