I barely hear Ohio St come up where I’m at. You’re either in a weird niche part of the country or just not telling the truth.

You're not really making your case here.
Posted on 12/9/25 at 2:46 pm to ClemsonKitten
So what you're saying is that you are obsessed with Ohio State.

Oh it is another race fundamentalist.
Please let us know what 99% white city you grew up/live in.

Because college football is how the south got its confidence back after the civil war, and thus they can’t stand it when a northern program is on top of the mountain.
You got downvoted for this and I will probably get downvoted for my answer but a former SEC athletic director whose name old farts on this forum will recognize actually said the same thing to me one time, that the South is the only region of the US that was ever conquered and that football which is something the South does especially well has always been a way for Southerners to get payback and to prove they’re just as good if not better than people from other regions.

This thread was jacked the instant the OP vomited all over the server. This whole thread is so 1960ish. Why has a vast majority of the nation's economic and population growth been in the South since the 1960's and especially since the 1990's?
Answer: Money, capital, and investment flow in the the path of least resistance. Eco 101. And that direction is southward.
Idiots up north with high cost, high regulation, and high state debt environments have opened the flood gates outbound. And what really funny is the are doubling down, just look what NYC did, elected an idiot socialist that is going to drive even more billions southward.
Get with the times OP.

Why are ACC fans so obsessed with the SEC? We aren't on an ACC board, you are on an SEC board.
Good luck with your game in the Pinstripe Bowl against Penn State, btw.

Yeah it’s not about football. But don’t pretend that the north doesn’t have huge cities compared to the south. Huge costs are eventually going to impact everyone. Roads and repairs don’t pay for themselves. Infrastructure is going to be paid by taxpayers. If you think millionaires and billionaires are going to pick up the cost for a lot of future development, you shouldn’t hold your breath
As far as the “idiots” up north, why do you think they are doubling down? Is it to make you rich?? Ummm no. AI is gonna be doing th work for most of the middle class anyways. Have fun with the Mexicans. They need a place to go, too

Nobody in this thread brought up socialism but you. Washington DC is not the South. Most of those areas that you show re not even considered South by old South’s definition. Texas is Texas. You have people from all over there. Don’t give me this nonsense that you are so glad to have Yankees down there and Mexicans down there. lol. If you claim that, then it disproves what you claim to be proud of. There’s more people from California in certain parts of Texas than true “Texans”.

When was the last time Ohio State won the Big 10?
Posted on 12/9/25 at 4:32 pm to ClemsonKitten
To the OP, take a look around this board. There’s been more people discussing Notre Dame and Lane Kiffin here than actual football . OSU isn’t even on the radar til you showed up

Northern dominance was implied upthread. I addressed the current situation vs the old 1960 stereo types that have been long gone. I pointed out that excessive regulation, debt, taxes initiated the changes in the North/South dynamic as it pertains to changing demographics that affect the college football climate.
High regulation, high taxes are features of socialism. So yes it was brought up. And yes only idiots that have no clue how economics and human nature work embrace such a failed disastrous system. But every few generations have to learn the hard way that crap sounds good but will poison everything it touches.

Why should Georgia be obsessed with a team who’s never beaten them?
Posted on 12/9/25 at 5:35 pm to ClemsonKitten
That's your perception based on personal emotion. No one I know gives a hoot about B1G football.

Yea, that’s why the Falcons were approved by the NFL in 1965 to come to Atlanta during the height of the civil rights movement and Jim Crow laws, huh?
