How are you going to feel in 2016 when Alabama and Georgia are facing off in the SEC Championship at the Superdome, living it up in NOLA, the crazy nights on bourbon, the women, the gumps and leghumpers taking over your town, in jubilation and celebration of the event, while you are sitting in your trailer in St Charles, pissed off and muttering about some ref that blew a call, obviously on Slive's payroll, jibber jabbering about some recruit of yours that just flipped to Alabama because Saban personally bought the boy's grandmother a new Kia, obviously spotted going through the local Popeye's drive-thru and splashed all over twitter, and why won't the NCAA do anything about it, etc?

That is so great

I wouldn't mind if they did it in NOLA every other year because I like NOLA. But the problem is that it opens the door for every other little shite city to try and whine and bitch about why they should get the SECCG.

I think they should alternate between Atlanta and Houston.

Basically his argument is: take out the 3 largest states outside of Georgia (Texas, Florida, Missouri) and Atlanta makes up a huge portion of the remaining footprint.

Honestly, I think it would be more efficient if they did Dallas or Houston over NOLA.

NOLA is awesome, but those two are more accessible.

It should be somewhere centrally located in the SEC geographic footprint.

Bottom line... It's not a Bowl game where you have weeks to plan your trip. 99% of the people who come to the SECCG arrive on Fri. before the game & leave on Sun. after the game(unless your a UGA fan )Atlanta's hotels & infrastructure can handle the influx of fans who weren't sure they would be there until late Sat. night the week before the game. Lotta shite to do on Fri. nite/Sat. near the Dome before the game. Note:.. THE CFB HALL OF FAME is moving from S. Bend & opening in the fall of '14 in Atlanta...etc...etc... Atlanta is a no-brainer...

New Orleans,: shitty city and already has Sugar Bowl

right i mean who would want a football game near hotels and a frick ton of bars, in a city that actually has something to do in it.

Should rotate between New Orleans, Nashville, Atlanta, and Tampa bay. Maybe Houston .

If my team found out they were going to the SECCG Saturday night waiting for another team to lose and give us the tie breaker, and first thing Sunday morning I get online and start trying to book a hotel in NOLA for the following Friday and Saturday night, what are the chances I'd get a room on my first try, at a reasonable rate? What about my 5th try?

In ATL, you'll get a room in 1 minute, downtown.

Because Atlanta is the best place for it.

And you people that are pushing for Texas cities, get a grip. WILL. NEVER. HAPPEN.

Besides, isn't Atlanta building the COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME? Why wouldn't it be there?

Georgia should want it moved out of the Georgia Dome since they can't seem to win a game there lately.

I bet you had Atlanta there first before editing in the Georgia Dome.

Which is why Comrade Blank is building us a new stadium.

You didn't really think it was because the Falcons just NEED a new stadium and Atlanta NEEDS another Super Bowl, did you?
