But seriously, it probably didn't help that Florida hung with Ole Miss just a week or so back. Way too long to be honest.

BYU has a stronger SOS.

ESPN SOS rankings for other AP Top 10 teams include Ohio State (33), Indiana (39), Texas A&M (15), Oregon (36), Ole Miss (24), BYU (46), Texas Tech (58), and Notre Dame (23)

You sure about that?

Texas Tech is a better team. That’s why. Plus our coach isn’t a douchebag.

Them dropping Ole Miss behind Oregon shows they are going to screw Ole Miss if they lose to Miss St.

It’s in Lubbock. That’s where Landman is.

Lubbock TX. And in fairness most folks don’t know the difference between Ole Miss and Miss St. and even Ole Miss doesn’t know what its mascot is.

All three, Tech, Utah and BYU have been middle class programs for as long as I can remember. When you don’t have an OU or Texas to play every year people have to manufacture a narrative that certain teams are better than they actually are. It’s not hard to put up good numbers when you’re playing Kansas State, Cincinnati and Colorado week in and week out.
