The only teams that can pull an SEC coach that is good is another SEC team.

I was being polite. I figured it was nicer than the honest “Jumped up Group of 5 caliber program” or “perineal doormat school”.

Their first call is going to Rhule.

Did they not fire Franklin because he couldn’t win big games and Rhule of all people are going to be who they replace him with?

Maybe, but they may be wanting a bigger splash as a coach. Elko, sitting here this second, has only won one game in November. Looks like they may have reached out to Kliff Kingsbury.

This year, all he has done is beat a slightly better than average ND team on the road and not done the usual Aggie thing of losing games they aren't supposed to. While this is a miracle for the Ags, its expected at Penn State.

No. They fired him because, after starting 3-0 and in the top 5, his team completely collapsed and lost 3 in a row.

Because the top programs HCs aren’t going anywhere

Bama and UGA are the only 2 teams who’s HCs have a good record vs top 25 teams

Tuberville and Rob Evans are the only two I can think of in modern history who used Ole Miss as a stepping stone job in any major sport.

Kiffin left Tennessee after one season who historically was the best program in the SEC at the time.

Kiffin has been at Ole Miss for six seasons.

These fricks saying our program is small time are retarded. 3 of our last 4 coaches (frick you Matt Luke) have had ole miss ranked in the top 10. We pay Kiffin more than every coach in the SEC not named Kirby Smart. We have a great AD and fan support. We will be fine either way.

I am getting scared we could end up with Drinkwitz. He is about as bad as Napier in road games against decent teams and has benefitted from weak SEC schedules. Kind of like when Stoops had his run with the favorable schedules and weak SEC East at the time.

Take away Lane Kiffins record at Ole Miss and what are they historically?

Spoiler: it’s a bottom tier.

Coach O got his feet wet as HC at Ole Miss so he could lead the GOAT team at LSU

Why is Kiffin the only wanted SEC coach?

Hard truth. He’s not the only wanted coach but he’s the most desirable attainable coach. lots of ppl would love to have Kirby, but he’s at a premier program so ppl know he’s unattainable. Ole miss is viewed as mid tier. So their successful coach is seen as attractive

Ole Miss winning football games really bothers other SEC fans lol….it’s strange really. They all think we’re just “not supposed to be good” in football. It upsets them mightily.

Only way Kiffin leaves Ol Piss is if he or the family just doesn't like living in Oxford.

Say what you want about it as a town, but there's a difference in what you can do with money in a place like that vs. other places.

That being said, Gangsville isn't a major upgrade.
