The Mizzou SJW explosion a couple years ago showed why they would be better in the PAC than the SEC. What a wreck.

I think most Mizzou fans are happy to be in the SEC, especially when the checks are issued. They're in a rich and stable conference where they're welcome to stay as long as they want and can leave when, and if, they want.
I say if because I don't think the Big X is as attractive to them as it once was. Being a border state, Missouri has cultural characteristics of both North and South, much like Kentucky. We are thoroughly oriented to the South, of course, and would never, ever think of leaving. Give them a few more years and I think Mizzou fans will be permanently oriented to the South as well.
I still think the long term answer to Mizzou's program problems (and Arkansas', A&M's and even LSU's) is to have a blood rivalry. One that, if you win it, even a horrible season is offset.

Not just currently better. Better venues, atmospheres, etc. it's just better and it's taking more seriously by those schools. Us sucking monkey dick does not help, admittedly.
That being said, I'm way more of a football fan and I couldn't be happier with the league we play in. As an outsider it was always hard to grasp what exactly made the SEC special, but being part of it, it is very evident just how much better it is. Doesn't mean the teams are always better, but it's SEC football...there truly is nothing like it.

Yes, give it time. Missouri wasn't a perfect fit, but they were the best available--the ACC schools weren't (and still aren't) going to leave for the SEC. If they ever get basketball on track, it will look like a much better addition.

Ya know Auburn has been the big surprise for me coming to the SEC. It was the one school I really knew nothing about. Y'all have fulfilled every stereotype I had about the south. It's like you HAVE to be a pasty, fat, racist with a maximum IQ of 90 to be allowed in that stupid fuking place. And then once in you can waddle your fat arse down to the corner and throw toilet paper at trees like a fuking 12 year old on halloween. And if it's a really big day you can drop to your knees and propose to some ugly fat chick after throwing the toilet paper at the trees. And then try to get someone with a forklift to help get your fat arse off of your knees

Literally the stupidest thing I've ever read in my life. It did come from a clueless, safespace-searching Missouri fan so it's not entirely surprising.
But still, as embarrassing that Missouri has been to the conference since their arrival, you'd think they would quiet down, not be as loudmouthed as Melissa Click.
