I love how LSU has you permanently rustled.

Everyone also assumes Bama will make the playoffs, too. I'd say to expect the same result until something different happens. That's not defeatist; It's pragmatic.

Refresh my memory on the last time Moo State beat Alabama? IIRC, it was before LSU last beat Alabama. Know your place, son.

It isn't really a new thing. LSU has ever won only about 35% of its game vs Alabama. The following teams all have a better winning pct vs Alabama than LSU does.
Auburn
Tennessee
Georgia
Missouri
Florida
edit to say that the article I got those numbers from is 4 years old, so those winning percentages are less now than then.

Even though the end results have been the same, as a Bama fan, I feel that MSST has been more competitive vs Bama than LS8u.
MSST
2018 24-0
2017 31-24
Ls8u
2018 29-0
2107 24-10
2016 10-0

Really easy for the LSU fans to talk shite from home for the second year in a row. They’re out in force since they have nothing else to do except look forward to losing to Bama again.
I guess if your team can’t beat LSU, then you’re eager to ride the dick of anyone who can. Pathetic.

LSU fans are king of dick riding. You were all cucking for Clemson after 44-16. You guys celebrated harder than Clemson did. I guess when you can't get the job done, switch allegiance to a team that can. You guys are a pathetic bunch.

I agree with this troll. Everyone just automatically assumes a loss to Bama now...boy how times have changed.
Speak for yourselves ...we consider Bama an equal these days.

Everyone was happy the tide got what they deserved. It wasn’t just LSU. And please do not call anyone else pathetic. You’re an Alabama fan. You literally have nothing else to be proud of except Alabama college football. Which itself isn’t predominantly comprised of Alabama kids.

Real answer: because you can have a successful football team without beating Bama as shown by their end-of-year ranking.
Also, and this is just my opinion, it seems like the general consensus that Les was run off for a lack of success against Bama was overstated at the time. Coach O has had results very close to what Les could produce in the Saban era and the natives in Baton Rouge seem more satisfied with O than they would be with Les given the exact same record/results.
I think the problem with Les was how stubborn he was, like the fact that he refused to change his offense, combined with the fact that he followed Saban who set a very high bar. I feel like if Les would have been willing to give the same lip service O does to progress vs Bama and overall he might still be coach at LSU instead of O. When Les promised to change the offense finally and then didn't even a little it was the last straw.
At the end of the day football coaches basically have to be the major of a large community and part of their job is managing the expectations of the fans in that community to at least pretend to show the same concerns they show much like politicians. Les wasn't willing to do that given the safety net he had, and now he is coaching at Kansas because he refused to live up to the political expectations foisted on him.
It's confusing to me because Les Miles scored more points against Alabama in just his final game than Coach O has the entire 3 years he's been at LSU.
I figured O will get fired around November or so. Although that recruiting class if it holds could buy him another year.
I felt like JA thought he was gonna get Fisher. That would have been the offensive hire to answer Miles shortcomings.

Why has LSU just quit trying to beat Bummer.
Really shameful a once proud football program has laid down and given up against a superior program. Disgraced in the Red Stick.
First of all, everyone is trying to beat Saban. And the only program successfully doing so is Clemson. So that leaves over 100 programs getting beat on a regular basis.
Second, LSU fans know how good Saban is. He was starting to dominate college football here before he left for the Dolphins. That's what makes watching him dominate at Alabama so aggravating.
Third, LSU hasn't laid down. Bama is just whipping their arse year in and year out. We're talking about young kids here, and it's evident that Bama is in their heads.
Lastly, I find it funny that your approach is basically making fun of a kid for getting bullied, when you and everyone else is getting bullied, unmercifully, by the same kid.
I can't stand Alabama. But I'm willing to tip my cap and give them credit where it's due. I'm just agitated because this should all be happening at LSU and not Tuscaloosa.
Here's to Little Nicky retiring soon...
