Why doesn't a team teach a super fast player to hold kicks?

virtually no chance of a team rushing off the edge to block as the WR speed type player would walk in the end zone around the edge and besides that he is probably the fastest guy out there anyway except a couple corners

RPKO. Run-pass-kick-option. Holder reads the edge.
I like it.

Why doesn’t the admin team restrict your ability to start threads?

Sounds like you don't want ANY rich white kids to have a place in college football.

Why didn’t Nick put somebody fast out there when he was kicking a 58 yard FG?

Roger Wehrli held for kicks at both Missouri and in the NFL. And yes...he did score an 18 yard TD during a game in his last NFL season.
As a All American Senior at Mizzou he picked off 10 passes and led the nation in punt returns!

Reminds me of that time LSU had Holliday hide behind the lineman and scored a touchdown on a fake field goal. or am I thinking of something else?

Actually, one of our starting safeties, Vinnie Sunseri, was a placeholder on several kicks that year… he had an end-of-season injury against Arkansas…not sure if he would’ve even been used in that situation had he been healthy but he’d’ve had a better chance to make a tackle than our punter…

Honestly… considering wr have better hands than the tradition holders idk why not.
not like those guys get hit in kicks a lot.

His job is catch the ball, put it on the tee and spin it if necessary to get the laces right. All in the space of about a second.
You can look at the end, or you can look the ball into your hands. I suspect the latter is the way to go.

I only see a couple of tweaks necessary.
Need an RPO tagged to it, and the option to punt.
Maybe snap it back 12 yards. Have 2x2 split receivers.
Outside post, inside stick to both sides.
It would be a RPKPO so you could run, pass, kick, or punt.
I’d just go with this as base formation once you are near midfield..
