Football season is here. They will always talk about the heisman every week b/c it's a topic people are highly interested in.

They wouldn't talk about it if people didn't give a fk.

The more that Bama QBs light it up, the less impressive it becomes. They run a system that’s prolific, just like OU did, Texas Tech, etc.

Young is a system QB.

I miss the days where a guy like RG3 could win on a team that didn’t contend for a title. At least last year we had a non-QB win. That was cool.

Helluva system if it tricked 10% of NFL teams to start QBs that were merely products of the system.

Ain't all College QBs system QBs?

Didn't RG3 play Art Briles' system?

Just not sure of your point.

Didn't Joe Burrow go from middle of pack SEC QB to winning the Heisman and drafted #1 with installation of a system that fit his attributes?

Every QB plays in a system. It's the dumbest argument I've heard against a QB

Why does the media want to award the Heisman after one week of play? Has to be one of the most meaningless awards out there.
I don't remember any LSU fans whining about how the Heisman was "meaningless" in 2019.

Curious.

A couple of those OU system Q s have won Heismans recently. Which ties in perfectly with the angst of the OP.

Because they're clowns and idiots and are too lazy to get a real, productive job.

The front runners are Coral and Young and it’s not even close.

Ibrahim if he wasn't out for the year. He had almost 200 yards rushing through 2 1/2 quarters of play.

1. It is because they're using sensationalism... all forms of media do the same thing. Facts don't matter. How can the MSM keep their followers on their side of the spectrum and pissed at anyone with a differing point of view.

2. Burreaux's was meaningless? Maybe. Smitty's was not.

How about Kenneth Walker III? He ran for a mere 264 yards and 4 TDs last Saturday on 23 attempts.
