I hate Tennessee but I’m pretty sure they trademarked the T and the burnt orange color.

Before anyone here jumps the shark, please notice there is one -- ONE -- very big difference between Green Bay's "G" and Georgia's "G".
In 1964, when coach Dooley became HC and implemented the "G" on UGA's new red helmets (they were previously all silver), Green Bay's G at that time took on a more rectangular look from today's G.
UGA, however, was going to use a different looking G (known as the "Power G") from Green Bay; however, he still felt that they needed to ask GB for permission to use it. GB granted it, thinking UGA's G would look like GB's G.
When GB saw UGA's G, they liked ours better than the one they had been using.....they asked UGA permission to use our Power G and it was granted, with no license/copyright fee attached.
To this day, UGA's Power G is a REGISTERED TRADEMARK of the University of Georgia. PLEASE NOTICE IT ON THE LOWER RIGHT-HAND CORNER OF THE G.
THERE IS NO REGISTERED TRADEMARK OF ANY KIND -- EVER -- ON ANY GREEN BAY POWER G. Why? Because, they use it at the goodwill of UGA.
Georgia's Power G is ORIGINAL. Green Bay's Power G is UGA's Power G used by permission.

The University of Texas created the interlocking UT logo in 1905.
Then, over 60 years later in 1967, Tennessee copied the logo of UT....the University of Texas.
More proof that Texas was the original UT.

It would appear Kentucky sucks at all sports because instead of focusing on improving their own skills, they sit around and think about Tennessee so they can whine better on websites.

Copied our move into the SEC after originally talking down upon the league and how they were academically superior & would never lower their standards. Ha.
Then they tried to copy our baseball team and made poor moves in an attempt to put our entire roster in burnt orange (copied from TN).
TN seemed to have copied their logos but outside of that seem to go on their own paths.
Jesus, what is next? (:-
