Why does Alabama claim national titles that everyone knows are bogus?

Alabama is a blue blood program with plenty of real success.
Why do they lower themselves to claiming national titles that everyone knows that they didn't win? (See UCF).
"Yeah we got waxed in our bowl game and didn't finish in the top 10 in the final AP, but the Tuscaloosa Roll Tide muffler shop had us number 1 in their final poll in October. We'll take it !"

Answer is obvious. The whole state has small penises. Claiming fake titles is the way the overcompensate. Alabama women talk about this all the time when they go to New Orleans to get laid.

Please be sure to add Georgia to this list seeing as how half of their 2 claimed titles are illegitimate and was awarded to them by, not the AP or UPU, but Houlgate.

What titles are you talking about? Only 1941 is controversial. All the others are Ross Bowl wins, AP/UPI poll wins, or CFB playoff wins.

I'm pretty sure Notre Dame claimed 10 at the time Alabama started looking for pre 1960 titles to put in the media guide. So Alabama needed to count to 11 to be number 1.
