Why should fans care about the money? It is not like our teams are hurting for it.
The best thing about college football is that it stretches across the country.
You take that away and its just a XFL

You just poached your OC and 1/3 of a starting offense from an ACC program not named Miami. Clemson’s last two NCs are more recent than any Florida championship. You’re absolutely part of a heavyweight conference, but that’s largely due to things Georgia, Alabama, LSU, and more recently Ole Miss have done.

Watching SEC fans try to d-ride the BIG is like watching a parallel universe. Oh, how the times have changed. The off season will be fun once again after ND, Miami, or a BIG team win the Natty. I’m sure it will be because you are so tired from playing Western Kentucky and a bunch of.500 teams.

You mentioned high school; well, they have always proven it on the field. College football still can't get it right after 150 years.
Do you mean a given state-level division title? How are those anymore definitive in the national conversation than a conference championship, or a conference division championship as a result of beating all the teams within the division?

I think the Big 10 and SEC will keep the whole thing going but it is crazy how that bill in Congress says the Big 10 can only add one team which we know is them wanting Notre Dame.
