Why do Tennessee and Misery perpetually hang around the backend of the Top 25

In the time period Tennessee has lost to:
-#1 Ohio State (national champs)
-#6 UGA (SEC champs)
-#9 Bama (playoff team)
-#13 Oklahoma (playoff team)
-#15 Vandy (best team in their history)
-Illinois (bad loss and no excuse)
-#1 Texas
We should have beaten at least 4 of these teams but we arent losing to bad teams

Frustrating to not beat any good teams lately
But Mizzou hasn’t lost to an unranked team since 2022, so that always gives us a high floor
We’ll probably fall out of the top 25 after the UF game this weekend

Mizzou almost always beat who they should but loses to who they should and that keeps them in the 20-25 range with 9-win type seasons

We need those overrated teams that some of y'all get. Instead we get mix of bad teams and champions.

Tenner made the score yesterday look a lot better with an illegal kick that was initially flagged...then picked up when another zebras reminded the flagger they hadn't received their pay for the game yet.

Tennessee lost by 3 to the number 1 team while ranked 14. In no world were they ever gonna fall out. You must be new to sports

They both schedule very weak OOC opponents for the most part which allows them to pad their stats until they get into conference play. Mizzou actually had a home and home with UMASS recently, the absolute worst FBS team there is. That in and of itself should be grounds for expulsion from the conference.

We have been fair to middling for 4 years now and the powers that be have a vested interest in propping up the SEC.
Hence our perpetual rankings in the ~20s

That’s exactly what I mean, both UTk and Mizery are right there on the same level as Michigan
All 3 have beaten nobody, all 3 lost to ranked teams on Saturday, yet Meatchicken is the only one that falls out
I’m starting to believe these conspiracy theories about the SEC being propped up.
UTk and Miz are not top 25 teams, they are 25-30 until proven otherwise

Also because as a previous poster mentioned - we typically beat who we should and never step up and beat anyone outside of our weight class.
It’s truly infuriating.
