That's kind of my overall point. The only program y'all have consistently beaten in the down period is us. And we ain't nothing to brag about.
That's like Alabama saying "we beat Ole Miss 3 times in a row!"
You guys have been shite for so long you don't even see it. The "granddaddy of college football" bragging about beating South Carolina

I feel ya. It's a shitty feeling on our side. But weve got to go with what accomplishments we've got, and there haven't been many...
But trust me, I see we have been shite. I think last year and this coming seasons are the beginnings of finally ending that shite period. But ive been wrong before

Hey, you have a better outlook than we do. Count your blessings.

Some were discipline issues, some were academic casualties, and some were never going to play and are seeking a chance at PT.
Then there's guys like Wharton who was well known in high school for changing schools like most changed shirts. Kid has some serious wanderlust.
Also over a 2 year time frame that's about normal for all major programs.

The 2013 and 2014 wins were definitely morale boosters. The 2013 game just because of how highly you guys were ranked at the time that we played and the 2014 win due to it being one of the best come backs I've seen in a while.
2015 not so much

I won't argue this one. One of the biggest opportunities we've ever wasted. We were strong enough to MAYBE win the SEC this year. Big maybe, since we would have played against Auburn and we haven't beaten them since the great depression. We were a strong team though. Still mad that was the one catch Marquez North ever made.
2014, we saw like 3 other teams make the same comeback. Not taking anything away from Tennessee that year though.
Unfortunately for us, Tennessee IS going the right direction while we have question marks everywhere. Including the HC position.

It does for TN they if you don't recall they invented the BS blueshirt crap and signed 30 plus the last 3 years. Biggest sham in the recruiting world, when the rest of us have to play by the hard 25 rule.
I'm sure Kiffin instanlty leaning out the roster when he came in, and leaving Dooley with the NCAA on campus having to accept 23 or so a year helped. Dooley was in the 65 range on scholarship early on. He wasn't heavy on "the take a commitment from a 3* to cut loose when the 4* or 5* committed" approach either. Bit him in the butt for sure, but not his approach then. He went to the end holding on to that potential 5* commitment coming in. Different approaches for sure.
Jones definitely benefited from Kiffin, and Dooley like no other could have imagined possible by being able to come up with the magic math to pull big classes his first years. To much crap going on in a program has to come to together for that to ever see that again. I'm sure your yearly recruiting board, and plan are different when you have a strict 23 vs a possible 30-35. Lot more "take chances" room in the latter fo sho.

Sawyers was underrated as a 3*... I really wanted Ole Miss to land him... Wanted Daniel Helm too.
