1) Everyone (including other fanbases) knew OM would take a step back after losing as much as they did the year prior. That includes players and both coordinators. Losing both coordinators was huge and can't be understated.

Losing DJ Durkin was a big blow to the program. He did miracles with our defense in 2021. Our D that season was not only in position to tackle defenders, but also tackled them well! It was the first time that'd happened since 2015

I like him. Why not. if you are not ever going to win might as well have a guy that could beat anyone on a given day. Who is great for the fans and school when it comes to the media stuff. Is an exciting offensive coach.

3) OM fans are still disappointed that the season ended how it did. However, if you check the preseason projections, you'll see most fans expected 4-5 losses.

Here's the results from last year's prediction thread:

I love him and I’m an LSU fan. Ole Miss games are fun AF to watch. And he’s hilarious and a world class troll. Long live Kiffin.

Except for 2020. He finished T3 last year and lost to the team he was tied with. Congrats I guess?

Looks like it was 50% said 4 or more losses.

OU wanted a coach that could change the Defense and go back to the kind of football OU was known for, that was CLEARLY not Kiffin.

If the sooner could get that do-over, how many would be begging the vols coach to come home?

Right now, very few.. in a few years who knows. I happen to believe Brent will be fine. I also think Josh would have fared no better this past year given the shite show that LR created.

That red river thing was ugly. It wasn't just watching the Sooners lose games, it was the manner that they did it. No one can feel good about that.

Kiffin has a Tinder alias and is a Twitter troll master. That's why we ALL love the bastard.

You must be having flashbacks. 2022 Ole Miss was no different than 2010, 2012, 2015, 2017, and 2018 Schtate.

Matt Luke, Hugh Freeze, Houston Nutt, and Ed Orgeron. He has the best winning percentage since Johnny Vaught and has been to three straight bowls: Outback, Sugar, and Texas. He won 10 games in his second year. He is well worth the money.

It doesn't matter that we went to the Sugar Bowl last year. All that matters is mid-October through November 2022 to many of these mouth breathers, who can't fathom life as anything but "what have you done for me lately?"
