Yeah those Muschamp Florida teams were world beaters.

They were pretty bad.

But they were still better than Tennessee and whoever the hell was their coach from year to year.

Why not make it a non-conference game?

Not world beaters, but 4-0 vs. Tennessee.

Are you okay with LSU's schedule being dictated by the wants of 4 other schools?

It's not. Ridiculous paranoia. Florida and LSU have been annual opponents since 1971. The SEC split into divisions in 1992. I don't see how you can say LSU/Florida isn't a rivalry but LSU/A&M (a team we've gone a full decade without playing on multiple occasions) is.

Looking at the LSU/UF and fuming about Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, and Tennessee is absurd. You wanna know what a manufactured attempt at a rivalry is? LSU-Arkansas. I'll never argue that one.

Many are too young to realize that football existed before their balls dropped.

But it's OUR rivalry.

So you guys go get a room and quit screwing over the rest of us. We have played OREGON more than we've played Missouri, and we've been in the same conference with Mizzou for four years now. With current scheduling, and assuming we don't play Oregon again, it'll be the 2030s before we've played OUR OWN frickING CONFERENCE OPPONENT as much as we've played fricking Oregon. But by all means, let all 15 of you Bammers and Vols, with the entire 20 teeth among you all, keep your "tradition" alive.

I didn't say LSU A&M was a bigger rivalry I said I get more enjoyment out of LSU beating them then I do Florida. Pre- expansion everyone played each other more often that's the point. Now there are divisions and I'd rather a more diverse schedule than playing one school every year. You'll note I'm not asking for a single school to replace UF, would prefer a rotation. And again, if there were three opposite league opponents or a 9 team schedule, I probably wouldn't care.

Who wants a game(s) that can ruin your whole season, outside of the SEC/National Championship. Not to mention the fans that claim they don't care about losses as long as they beat whatever rival. I'll take 4 or 5 lukewarm rivalries every year and that list is fluid. If that doesn't answer your question then so what.

Before Bama's current streak of 8. The record was 43-38 in favor of Bama.

LSU fans are just whining because the UT program has been down.
