Did you get tired of losing to the premiere basketball league? Were you that scared? I know UK fans wanted no part of us. LOl, I'm joking mostly, but why did it end? I enjoyed the games and loved the atmosphere.

It’s rotated. ACC/SEC challenge for a few years now.

Cincinnati has always been a P3 program stuck in the G5. It was reported on our board once that even Sankey visited our campus to evaluate our Athletic Department and was said to have been impressed. Geography was the ultimate issue. We did not fit the footprint.

It makes sense, starting next year one-third of the Big 12 will be in the SEC. The six largest brands from the original Big 12 are gone to greener pastures (well, maybe not Colorado). I don’t think the SEC needs a challenge with the leftover backfilled commuter schools.

Because Texas wants to play ACC teams in 2024.

And what have any of them done after they left? So what did you actually gain? I will tell you, they've done nothing. The Big 12 put the clown suit on the SEC. Our league will be a lot of fun.

We upgraded to the ACC. There is not much left of the Big 12 except for Kansas now.

Enjoy that while it lasts. The ACC will soon be nothing more than a memory.

No act. I will always defend the Big 12 whenever someone slights it.

Cincinnati was in a conference from 1975 to 1991 with schools across the South -

geography isn't the reason Cincinnati will never be in the SEC -

I want to say we have done: Big 10, Big 12, now it’s a few years of ACC, then Pac 12, then Big 10 again, then Big 12. By then, so many things can change.

I think someone misunderstood “not in the same stratosphere” as not regional fit.
