aTm was a good fit and Arkansas too. I disagree with you on SC, I think they were also a good fit. Mizzou remains to be seen but in 10 years everyone will forget about all this crap and just see a 14 team conference.

You're going by strictly college tv markets but that's not how it works.

Funny here is a copy from the headline of the article

The Top 10 College Football Markets In America, Based On TV Ratings

Hence the term "based on tv ratings" I think you just blew the academics argument.

The other list is most CFB viewers which would seem to be more relevant to a CFB station than overall viewers.

It's not. In fact it doesn't matter if a single person tunes in. That's not how the league is paid. They are paid by carriage fees which double if the market is in the SEC footprint.

South Carolina are amazing fans that live in a state that is an important part of southern history.

Exactly it's the SEC footprint and their footprint covers the whole state of Missouri.

Texas A&M has been a magnificent addition. Arkansas seems to fit in to a certain extent.

Why?

The SEC couldn’t lure Clemson away after Bowden tucked tail and ran to the ACC? They had some serious success in the 80s.

But South Carolina? Why? They are ACC material.

Doesn't matter if a single person tunes in? Where does the money come from? It comes from advertising. Ask the companies who are paying for the advertising if it matters how many people are viewing.

Their fanbase fits the SEC mold IMO. South Carolina is good people. But you guys don’t come off as SEC type. Same goes for the program itself.

TBH, Clemson is a little more trashy, and that actually fits. South Carolina, you are good guys. SEC doesn’t have any “good guys” outside of Vandy.

You don’t have any good posts, so it breaks even. You’re trying too hard.

You’ll get there, friend.

Let’s see:

Mizzou = 2 SECCG appearances
USCe = 1 SECCG appearance
aTm = 0 SECCG appearance
———————

A&M = 2 SECCG apps if they played in the East.

I honestly can’t figure out how to get the avatar section to work.

I dont know why you two are upset about me posting a legitimate discussion topic tbh, and revert to calling me names instead.
