University police engaged while the incident was still in progress.

Holy smokes! An LSU fan... the home of a convicted child rapist who was kept on the LSU team by a “team vote,” ...being outraged about a nolo contendre case 10 years ago in Alabama?

And of course the West Monroe police reported “they smelled M smoke..” and then it came out that ...no... they didn’t, they just made it up.

And the freaking Aubs?...good god their crimes include stupidity, drooling, booger-picking in public, stump-jumping, bestiality, even incest murder ...all of which they have covered up because they consider it “normal.”

A man is judged partly by his detractors... and if Saban is being attacked by barners and corn dogs, he is most likely a man of true integrity.

If he truly just defended himself, that would have been clear to the officer and he would not have been arrested with her

This dude was working the parking lot of the campus rec. He was just going to take them both in and let his supervisors take it from there.

But a man doing this, is completely unnaceptable and should never be defended

I'd argue even if she did start it he shouldn't defend himself considering the difference in size and strength, unless she is clearly attempting to maim or kill him with a weapon.

He f'd up. He knew it, too, and hasn't had anything like it happen since. He knew he was lucky it was "just" that, and that he wasn't ruined for life.

Because there is no one to punish him. You can tell the type of people he develops by the way they act after they leave.

There isn't a single thing about Saban that screams integrity. He only gets passes because who he knows and winning games.

My buddy Lanier should weigh in on this, but as I understand it, sometimes you have to hide the hook.

You mean all 4 or 5 of them who have gone on to get in serious trouble after graduating/leaving for the NFL?

Yeah, he's bigger, but she was a 6'2" athlete and over 180 lbs. She's bigger than most of our safeties and he was right to hold her at bay. He never hit her, simply stuck out his hand and held her head down after she swung and missed with a roundhouse. It was so she could no longer reach his face with punches, and he handled the situation appropriately.

There's a reason charges were dropped.

This is her arrest mugshot from that night. Anyone who says she wasn't the guilty party here is pretty damn stupid.

Did you read the article? He's not innocent according to the article.

The article doesn't say he's guilty, either.
