Because Iowa didn’t really deserve that ranking in the first place.

OP probably still smells like Cincinnati's nuts, after having them drug all over them for 3+ hours.

Iowa couldn’t beat half the teams ranked behind them and had been riding a solid defense and a run of luck all season.

They are probably the 4th best team in the B10.

Because it is Alabama.

Did UCF even finish 2nd when they went undefeated?

Because Bama beat Bama, didn’t you know? You new here?

So, the drop of Bad Bama is offset by the potential of Good Bama.

Because everyone with eyes could see that if Clifford doesn't get hurt. Iowa loses against Penn State! Iowa has no offense and 10 times out of 10. Bama waxes Iowa in a game. But would love to see them play at least one of those games in Iowa. How cool would it be to see Saban waving at kids in the Children's Hospital after the 1st quarter. Not always SEC bias just the fact that Iowa wasn't ever the #2 team in the country.

It’s easy when you think about. If Alabama and Iowa were to play next week and the line was even you would bet your life savings on Bama so you could collect and pay for your sex change.

They have a good scheme and play with discipline.

They’re a bunch of slow white kids. Can’t coach speed.
