It was a pretty elementary coverage. Stingley was playing bump and run, DeVonta got a good outside release (which you can't allow), Stingley couldn't recover and the throw was perfect.

Not much else to it.

Like coach O said "frick Bama"! I wish Smith would've declared so maybe the Saints could've drafted him. I give 2 shits with him at Bama.

That was a pretty elementary coverage called by your Walmart def coordinator. Probably not what I would have went with there but what do I know.

Yeah receivers don’t do that, that is a QB’s job and that boy is headed to the NFL.

It’s almost like you won that game....but you didn’t.

I dont mind not winning a game, congrats. I was replying to a person that instead of actually bringing something to a thread attempted to insult Walmart shoppers.

By all means Buddy Ryan, tell us what you think you saw on that play. Grace us with your tactical acumen, I’m dying to hear it.

Lateral move paywise in my opinion and fewer perks...lesser pool of eligible squeezes

Probably didn't get a 1st round grade (2nd - 3rd) and that 5th year on the rookie contracts matters a lot.

Coming back he gets his degree. Has a chance to secure a guaranteed first round spot and actually be featured as the #1 receiver. Even with an abysmal season or a bad injury, he probably wouldn't fall further than the fourth round next year.

Difference between contracts between 2nd and 4th really isn't that big so it's a high reward minimal risk decision.

Hate that he is at bama but we graduated from the same high school so I'm really pulling for him. Would have loved for the Saints to take a shot on him at the end of the first this year.

Watching Bama this year I thought he was the best receiver of the bunch. And it was a hell of a bunch.

Apparently, this year’s draft has the deepest pool of WR prospects to come along in a long time. What’s the point of entering the draft early to be a third or fourth round draft pick? Might as well stick around for another year and try to elevate your stock even more.
