Why did CBS pick the Georgia Florida game?

over the Auburn Ole Miss game? Seems like they dropped the ball. Ratings for Ole Miss Auburn will be much higher than Florida Georgia IMO

CBS has a contract with both schools that is set years and years in advance. It will always be on CBS at 3:30 and there's nothing you can do about it.

CBS sees this as an SEC 'brand' game. Unfortunately for them, only UGA fans will care much about it this year.
