I started deer hunting a few years ago. My wife's uncle took me for the first time. I learned a little. I watched a buzzillion youtube videos. I learned a little more. Then I searched for and joined a lease/hunting club. Be social, ask questions, help out. Im still learning, but I've come a long way. I'm obsessed now.

I probably wouldn't try to hunt everything right away. I would probably focus on one type of game and keep adding to it season after season. The first season I just hunted rifle deer season. The next season I bought a bow and hunted bow and rifle season. I think I'm ready to try and hunt turkeys.
90s movies are sooo much better than 80s
I had a 2021 6.2 and the lifters failed at 40k, 60k, and 90k. At the point I was done and traded it in for the 3.0 diesel

Is it unfair not to include home equity? No, you have to have somewhere to live and it’s isn’t liquid

So, if I sell my house, cash in on the equity, rent for a few months, I magically have a higher net worth? Then, if I buy another house with that money, my net worth goes down? The reality is you are in the same financial position.

You think Gordon got a bunch more business by spending $2 million on LSU players?

Gordan said that it helped improve public perception of him and his firm. Injury attorneys are not viewed positively and are looked at as snakes/ambulance chasers generally. It was beneficial to his business in this way.
Killed 2 does and a 180 lb 9 point. Saw deer maybe half the time. I had more luck hunting crossings than over food plots. Didnt see many deer come out in the food plots during the daylight. Woodville, MS

It’s really aggravating when people say they come to New Orleans for the food. If people only knew to go 150 miles west and the food between Lafayette and Lake Charles would blow New Orleans out the water.

I’ve lived in Lafayette for 12 years and I will take New Orleans cuisine. I do love them plate lunches though! Dwight’s bbq plate lunch, chefs kiss!

Yep, I haven’t seen any this season. It’s really odd.

I buy and sell stuff on Facebook marketplace
There are reports that each NIL deal (next year) will have to go through a clearing house and will have to be fair market value for true NIL. In theory, that could work. Let’s hope it works in reality too.
I send my kids there. It's a great school. My kids have always gone there so I don't have anything to compare it to. Ms. Desormeaux (new principal) is awesome. Everyone loves her. Athletics have gotten a lot better recently. I am pleased with the academics, although again, nothing to compare it to. It is the largest church parish in the area and brings in the most money through the church. It seems the Diocese has in turn put a lot of money into the school. We are very happy with the school.
Suggs and Paez get an A??? An A grade should be for a full-time starter who is a major contributor and gets some All-SEC love (At least 3rd team), not a rotational player with a few snaps per game.

Suggs C-
Paez B
Mascons on his Locked on LSU podcast, and before you roll your eyes, he seems to be pretty locked in on NIL and clearly has multiple sources in the collective and on the football staff. He gets pretty specific with the numbers. He also had Gordon Mckernan on last year and said that LSU paid 4 million for the 2023 roster and was looking to double that for 2024.

Mascona said point blank that LSU was going to double and almost triple the NIL for 2025. He said the collective has been receiving over 1 million a month just since they allowed donors to receive TAF points for donations.
In all seriousness, I think that the info that it generated is dated. I think the 8 million allocated for football was for the 2024 Roster. I think LSU has significantly increased that number for 2025 along with anticipated Rev share of around 13.5 million annually for football.
