You're a goddamned idiot.
The university had discontinued it's use until 1976, but they used it before the Braves were ever in Atlanta.

I think we used ours much more before joining the SEC. I saw it a lot as a kid in the 70's.

It was sold on just about anything. But I’m not aware of Alabama claiming they invented it. Everyone kn

Most people you can just ignore, but he's like the little brother that keeps holding his hand in front of your face saying "I'm not touching him"!!!

bullshite! The University of Alabama copyrighted their script A as an alternate logo in 1962. FOUR years before the Braves moved to Atlanta. Their baseball team has used it off and on since the 20's. Coach Bryant was pictured in one of them on his first media guide in 1958!

This might be tough for you to grasp, but sometimes a man will own more than one hat.

Close but not the same pattern.

It is houndstooth. I suppose the solid houndstooth pattern is more marketable.

Bama’s script A is actually five Nike logos strategically arranged.

Didn't the school sue the Houndstooth Mafia because of trademark infringement ? Never understood how they claim the houndstooth pattern was a UA trademark.

Your thread is about as original as an “A” on a baseball cap.

To be fair, “A” is the only letter many Bama fans know. “B” was for advanced students.

You gotta realize that you're dealing with a fool here.

Of course they are a little different...because Tennessee's was trademarked. Texas had to make it a little different to stay out of court.
