Spending plenty of time in Tulsa/Sapulpa area for many years, I would say that it's because the BBQ & Brisket are so good. How can they expect to stay hot with places like The Spudder or Rib Crib nearby?

Carrie Underwood is just one example of what crawls out of those small towns all over the state, and she ain't even all that compared to what I saw daily growing up there as a single young dude.
