“College football is dead”
“ college football as we know it is over”
“College football doesn’t feel the same”
“My sister won’t sleep with me while college football is on”

What’s the deal?

Level playing field now. They no longer have the advantage that they have been having due to Saban being the best at working the system.

1. Scared
2. Their older fans have been living in a romantic la la land in which everything is as it should be with Bama on top. This threatens a possible crash back to reality as it promotes individualism within a sport that has seen Bama render 5* talent into just another guy within their ranks.

Are you sure about that?

I'd rather try to teach a cow algebra than have to explain this to you, Jack.

Unless you are in a position to tell me that Orgeron isn't coming back this season I wouldn't get too caught in that "level playing field" thing.

We know, our run is over. This NIL stuff spells the end for Saban/Bama. It was a good run while it lasted. We just hope for winning seasons going forward.

Never understood 1 or 2 guys that barely have any type of history on the rant suddenly becomes spokesman for a large group of fans.

So an elite athlete will transfer to a lesser program so that he will stand out more?

That should work out great for them when they aren't as often on tv, or prime time tv, or ESPN highlights that elite teams dominate.

actually, the elite teams, and especially Alabama, will thrive.

Wouldn’t NIL help out a school like Oregon that has endless Nike money. They could buy every California recruit every cycle.

As an LSU fan I’d like to believe that, but all Saban does is figure out a way to adapt and master anything new that pops up.
Also doesn’t he own Mercedes dealerships and investment in Mercedes plant in AL? If so I can see that being a HUGE NIL partner.
