You’re right.
Not because they’re “dicks,” but because there’re a ton of rivalry vibes floating around in those games, which tends to bring out the worst in some people.
For the record, y’all are one of my favorite fan bases in the SEC.

While the majority of SCar Alum and fans are decent people I’m not surprised UofSC tops this list. Last time We played a game at UofSC the student section pelted Clemson players with bottles from the stands.

FWIW, had a great time there in 2014 with Spurrier on a ridiculous home undefeated streak, plus they had Kyle Carpenter speak before the game, which I thought was completely unfair. 
We were surrounded by Cock fans. Maybe they were drunk, maybe they weren't. Never had a problem, and the old curmudgeons will definitely go back.

Pretty sure that study was discussed and a lot of those fans that were thrown out last year happened during the UGA game and a lot of those were UGA fans. I wanna say there were thirty something arrests made during the UGA game. Tennessee game made up a lot of them too.
ETA: Trivia .... the guy that runs and writes that website is the guy who banged Nikki Haley while her husband was overseas. Or so the rumor goes. He claimed it, she didn’t win the defamation suit against him. He’s that kind of a-hole.
