As a Florida fan I admired Joe Burrow for not being a bitch. He never complained when he got planted in the dirt because he knew this was the SEC and defenses are for real.

Not sure he’s thinking of the same Danny Etling I’m thinking of. The one i remember is a hard nosed player. He may not have been the most talented, but always worked the hardest and played the hardest

I don't think I've ever really hated an opposing QB.

This thread pops up every fall. I'm kind of surprised to see that Matt Jones, historically a favorite among the hated, hasn't even garnered a mention.
That said, was Clausen or Peyton the last Tennessee QB to beat Bama?

The most hated QB? I really had an unusual and utterly unjustified dislike of Chris Relf. It wasn't because of his play, which was eminently satisfying to watch, he just had a punchable face.

I liked Matt Jones, the “Relf coast offense” was fun to watch hang 50 on the assholes from Michigan, but he was a different looking dude
