RGIII. I like how much of a trendsetter he is and how he comes up with the most incredible catchphrases that are never corny.

I don't watch any of that crap.

After awhile you figure out they recycle the same scripts every year and just change the player names around and if they happen to be right about anything, it's mostly coincidence.

I do enjoy old/former coaches though. When I watch a game that has coaches room instead of the normal broadcast, I always watch that one.

For all the hate he gets. Gary Danielson is still the best.

I've watched a couple of UGA games with Jim Donnan. I wish more ex coaches would do it.

Totally agree when it comes to the Xs and Os of the game. Herbie is more entertaining but we will miss Gary.

I would love to see Saban do something like that.

Although really, it can be just about any coach. Even Gene Chizik I could listen to watch Alabama games, so long as he talks football, with perhaps the occasional tongue in cheek joke.

Until something happens in the 1st quarter and he spend the rest of the game talking about it, or when he tries to put everything towards the narrative he created in his notes thing or whatever.

More sucks that games won't be on CBS anymore.

Gary Danielson

Yes, everyone on here hates him because he is blunt (modern day Howard Cosell) but he is a great student of football and he knows his stuff. It is obvious that he takes a great deal time studying the teams that he is covering.
When your team is sucking he calls it like it is and does not sugarcoat it. Which today is actually refreshing.

I for one am going to miss the superb CBS broadcast which are night and day better than anyone else.

And even when State was on and I would cringe when he would call us out for playing like crap, I knew he was being truthful.

SEC royally fricked it up when they did not keep the CBS deal.

Mike Tirico. Professional and knowledgeable, asked questions about the intricacies of the game as it was playing out, which I felt was a good way to keep the listener engaged and interested. Too many just would run their mouth about darn near anything which I always found insulting and exhausting.

If CBS had made the SEC the same TV offer as the B1G we would still have the SEC on CBS. As Danielson and Brad stated very clearly during the SECCG, they, meaning CBS, will not see the likes of this conference again. They knew it was the greatest show on turf. CBS's loss is ABC/ESPN's gain. I'm more than ready for the change.

Blackledge is great. Danielson is awful. Just because you know the xs and os of football doesn't make you a good announcer.
